Harbour Financial Solutions is a mortgage services broker, established by Karen Richards, who is based in Poole, Dorset. With over 28 years’ experience in the financial services industry, Harbour Financial Services was built through Karen's passion to ensure that the client was put first in every aspect of their financial planning requirements.
The team are all experienced mortgage and protection advisors, who ensure that through a tailor-made advice process, the most suitable and appropriate solutions are offered to our clients, throughout their forever changing financial needs.
We offer an excellent level of service to our clients, both locally on the south coast, but we also cover the whole of the UK. We look forward to welcoming you to Harbour Financial Solutions.
Karen Richards – Mortgage and Protection Specialist / Company Director
Karen is the founder of Harbour Financial Solutions and is based on the South Coast in Dorset. She has spent over 28 years working in finance, with her industry experience ranging from insurance and protection, retail banking, wealth management, financial advice and mortgage advice.
Her vast knowledge around mortgages has been established from working most of her working career within mortgage services and primarily as an independent mortgage broker. Her clients range from first time buyers, through to larger investment portfolio landlords, as well as everything in between. Karen's passion is to ensure that her clients understand everything mortgage and property related, to provide them with the knowledge and confidence to meet their property goals, and with ease.
She is always on hand to support and guide her clients throughout the mortgage options available, alongside providing appropriate protection advice to ensure they have a solid foundation to their financial planning needs.
In her spare time, Karen enjoys long dog walks around the south coast and has grown to enjoy gardening, when the British weather allows!
Natalie Hawey – Mortgage and Protection Specialist
Natalie joined Harbour Financial Solutions after working in the financial services industry for the past 10 years.
She has a wealth of knowledge ranging from retail banking, wealth and portfolio management support, and more recently offering mortgage and protection advice as an independent mortgage broker. Natalie has taken her previous experience and chosen to take the career route of a whole of market mortgage adviser, as she is passionate about all thing’s property. Natalie will happily take on a challenge to find a mortgage solution when other brokers can't, and is dedicated to delivering the most suitable mortgage package to her clients by understanding their needs in full.
Natalie ensures that her clients are fully informed, are provided with full holistic mortgage and protection advice, and that she delivers a high level of customer service throughout their whole journey.
Natalie lives locally in the Dorset area and is a mum of 2 young boys who keep her busy outside of work! She is an avid runner and regularly takes part in organised charity runs in the local area.
